Privacy
This page describes what the Nod extension and dashboard collect, what they do with it, and what they do not do. It is the same disclosure shown in the extension before Nod reads anything.
What Nod collects
Nod sends the following to its own servers, over HTTPS, and only for the account you signed in with:
- Identity and profile: your name, email, headline, work history, skills, and the résumé you built or uploaded.
- LinkedIn session, used in this browser only. Nod does not read the li_at cookie. It reads JSESSIONID only as LinkedIn's CSRF token, so a signed-in browser is not asked to sign in again. That cookie value is not stored on Nod's servers and is not sent to Nod.
- Website content you ask Nod to read: LinkedIn posts, profiles, and job cards, plus Rozee, Greenhouse, or Glassdoor results if you turn that source on.
- Form data and the URL of an application page, when you ask Nod to fill that form.
- Drafts Nod writes for you. A connection note is sent to LinkedIn only when you click to send the invite.
- The pages the extension acts on: LinkedIn, this dashboard, and an application form you asked to fill. Nod does not record your general browsing.
How it is used
Nod uses this data only to find roles, write a CV and drafts, and fill forms for you. It is not sold. It is not used for advertising. It is not shared with anyone except as required to run Nod for your account, to comply with the law, or to investigate abuse of the service.
Limited use: the extension collects user data only for the features described on this page and in the extension itself. That data is not used or transferred for advertising, resale, or any purpose unrelated to those features.
Deleting your account
Settings has no delete control. To delete the account and the data stored for it, email from the address on the account and ask for it to be deleted. Nod deletes that account and the data held for it.
